Supporting Access to Benefits workshop
This live interactive workshop will allow you to practice the skills required to engage in benefits conversations with the community members you support.
This free 90-minute workshop is designed to provide frontline practitioners with foundational knowledge and skills to support Canadians who are living on a low income to access benefits. Participants learn the importance of access to benefits for individuals and families, review key skills and opportunities for starting benefits conversations, and practice using the Benefits Wayfinder tool to become familiar with its functionality.

Prerequisites
None. Prosper Canada’s Foundations to Access to Benefits online course is recommended, but not required.
Delivery
This live workshop will be delivered virtually using the video conferencing platform, Microsoft Teams. Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email that includes an invitation with a link to access the event.
